Can’t quite believe I am now writing about my travel to the West Coast, California, where I was a Los Angeles wedding photographer, also if just for one day.
– Rewind, please –
Some magic happened to me in November, when Mary and Farhad asked me to photograph their wedding in Los Angeles. We met few days before in Florence, where we enjoyed some time together while shooting their engagement session (curious? Have a look here mates!). They were so happy about the result that decided do be so crazy to bring me overseas with them. When there ,unluckily, as usually happens things can’t be always perfect; while we all were hoping for a beautiful sunny spring day, the weather seemed to have other ideas. But LUCKILY when you have great Plan B (it means colorful cozy umbrellas for all the guests) it is no longer needed! As soon as we arrived at Calamigos Ranch, where wedding ceremony and following party took place, rain suddenly stopped, and they could have their wonderful, DRY, touching outdoor ceremony (also if all of us have been ready for a wet race!), and most important they had a lot of fun and tears with their loved ones.
Ops, I forgot to answer to the main question: sure it can be magical guys, no matter the rain. LOVE is ALWAYS MAGICAL.
Mary & Farhad: I feel really blessed to have been part of your wonderful love story, collecting for you a small part of your visual legacy that you will share with your families in the years to come. Hope our paths will cross soon, no matter on which side of the Ocean.
